Three Rivers Woodland Park, a township?


For my Fmp project and travelling to Africa, I wanted to create some portraits from something good in the North West! From this I had the idea of incorporating the environment of the North West, with holidays in the North West, townships and the pure charactors in the  North West. From this I end up at 3 Rivers! Which would be known as something called a township in Africa, the term coming from before the apartheid, where a part in a town was reserved simply for black, and coloured people, along with working class indians.

How To Find Us

Leave the M6 at Junction 31, take the A59 towards Clitheroe. After approximately 15 miles turn off at the signpost Clitheroe North (B6478). The park is approximately two miles and is well signposted to Eaves Hall Lane. The park is half a mile on the right.
The park is open seven days a week. Reception is at the entrance with a car park to use on your left.

Three Rivers Woodland Park is set in over 45 acres of mature woodland within the Ribble Valley. Awarded the David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation the park offers a beautiful rural setting situated only a few miles away from the market town of Clitheroe with its host of amenities.
It is an ideal retreat for you to own your own holiday home, which provides you with all the comfort of home allowing you and your family to enjoy breaks and holidays for many years. Should you wish to join us on a more permanent basis we can offer residential timber lodges.

Holiday Home Caravans For Sale

Investing in your own holiday home means it is available for you and your family whenever you want. Your own country retreat equipped and furnished to your liking.
Our caravan holiday homes are beautifully appointed and well spaced around the park. Many are double-glazed and central heated which is most welcome in early and late season, which runs from 1st March until 31st October. We have a selection of new and pre-owned caravan holiday homes available.

Our park homes and timber lodges are innovatively designed for all year round living, fully fitted and equipped to high standards, each has double-glazing and central heating. The surrounding gardens are imaginatively laid out and landscaped for minimal maintenance for you as a resident.
We have a number of residential homes with prices from £74,000 to £92,500 we also have a limited number of vacant plots available for new homes, giving you the opportunity to choose the layout and specification of your new home.
All our residential homes are exclusively for people whom are over 50 years old giving you an idyllic retreat for a new lifestyle in the Ribble Valley. We do allow well behaved pets and grandchildren to visit!!

Touring caravans and tents are welcome. We have two fields which will take upto 100 tourers with 50 hard standing spaces available including electric hook-up facilities, a well stocked shop, toilet block and laundrette. We also have a separate field available for tents. We are open all year round for touring caravans so come and join us for the New Year celebrations.

Facilities

The Snooker room is for the serious player but there is a games room for the children equipped with pool tables and electronic games machines.
Country Club

The clubhouse has two fully licensed bars. One catering for adults and the other for families, there is a snack bar available at weekends. It is a popular drinking place for residents and holidaymakers alike.

Swimming pool

Our heated indoor leisure pool is open daily 9am – 4pm 1st March until 10th January each year. There is also a toddler’s paddling pool and a Jacuzzi.

On Site Shop & Launderette

To make life easier our well-stocked shop has all the everyday essentials, newspapers and bottled gas available daily 9am until 5pm. The launderette is coin operated and equipped with large washing machines and dryers, handy if you are up for a longer stay.

Amenities block

The shower and toilet block is operated by a swipe card system, which is obtained when checking in at the parks reception for a deposit of £10. We have disabled facilities. There is also hot water available in the washing up area.
